The Around Town Show host Scott Rogers, and producer, Mathew Hodgkinson died as a result of gunshot wounds to the head.  Sheriff Brett Stassi of the Iberville Sheriff's Office deliberately hampered the investigation into their deaths. On August 27, 2014,the day they were scheduled to testify at a grand jury hearing, Rogers was found dead at his residence while Hodgkinson was found unconscious from what was called an attempted suicide. Why Stassi chose such a high profile case to try manipulating the information he sent to the press remains a mystery.  I will post the press releases and statements Sheriff Brett Stassi sent to the media, both local and European. I will only post information already publicly and voluntarily published by Sheriff Brett Stassi and other principals to the investigation.
